Farvash Razavi
9 - 19 November
On the 9th of November Farvash Razavi is presenting her new project EQUATIONS. A NONLINEAR IMPULS, at Färgfabriken. In this project she studies the destructive human behaviors ( looking at her own in particularly) where unexpected or expected impulses takes over our rational thinking.
Farvash Razavi is working with a system where she is translating these behaviors into mathematical equations, these equations will later set the parameters of machines that will build sculptures in paper.
During the 9th - 19th of November, you are invited to follow Farvash work and see how the project evolves and takes shape.

Nandi Nobell: The Impossible is Behind Me
During 2017 Färgfabriken will be enriched by a creative residency cooperation with art/design trio Very Very Gold. The group occupies one of our project rooms, where they will work on their own projects and exhibitions, but also contribute to Färgfabriken’s ongoing work.
Very Very Gold works in the border between experience, technology, art, product and material studies. The meeting between science, fiction, design and art is a natural part of their work. System design and the exploration of production techniques is of great interest to all three of them. The group does not have a set direction and does not follow a manifest - even if a critical examination of the contemporary with inspiration from visions of the future is recurring. In most cases, Michel Bussien, Farvash Razavi and Nandi Nobell individually create their works, products and assignments, but never without refining each other's work - through shared perspectives, analysis, references and innovation.
The project room at Färgfabriken becomes a magical display cabinet - through the presentation of a process mixed with finished artefacts and works of art, the live-in exhibition becomes a thinker for Very Very Gold's members and for Färgfabriken's visitors.
Michel Bussien Time and place
The creative residence will be ongoing in the project room at Färgfabriken until November 26th 2017. You're welcome to step into the studio/exhibition even if meetings, art production or installations are going on.
Calendar:
Premiere: May 6-7, VVG opens up the room for vistors. Film screening Cup Iran with Farvash Razavi, on May 7 at 13 (in Swedish).
May 27 - June 4: The Impossible is Behind Me, Virtual Realities by Nandi Nobell through Very Very Gold
Immerse yourself in art far beyond human scale, budget and logic within VR.
Open studio May 27 - May 31
You can whatch the VR-work from June 1st.
Opening/Vernissage June 3rd at 12.

October 26-November 5: Nandi Nobell: Preparations and installation Oct 26-29, see his VR-artwork Nov 2-5.
November 9-19: Farvash Razavi: Get a glimpse into her creative process and see the works developing and eventually being installed.
